Jason Douglas Black,  age 52, of Roosevelt UT passed away on Oct. 31st, 2019 in Salt Lake City UT due to a multitude of health complications related to his liver transplant.

He was born August 19th, 1967 in Arlington Washington to Doug and Frances Black. He was the youngest of 6 siblings, married once, and preferred construction or fishing/ canning in Alaska for work. Jason was not usually content in one place for too long but lived in Washington, Alaska, and Utah for the majority of his life. He was passionate about Seahawks football, fishing, sprint car racing, debating, and telling bad jokes. 

Jason is survived by his 3 daughters: Dalyn, Nichole, and Alexandra. 6 grandchildren: Braidyn, Evey, Kaylee, Lilly, Joani, and Forestt. 4 remaining siblings, 3 brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents Frances and Doug, his brother Mark, and his only son Hunter.

Jason will be laid to rest alongside his mother and son by his family in a plot located on Camano Island in Washington. There will be no public service hosted by family in UT but friends are invited to celebrate his life. There is no memorial fund established and the family declines donations please.
