Alfred Sorensen
Alfred Edward Sorensen, 81, of Salt Lake City, UT, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the VA Hospital.
Alfred was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glenn David Sorensen and Laura Burton Sorensen. During his lifetime he lived in Salt Lake City, Bountiful, Evanston, WY, Boise, ID, and San Diego, CA. He completed his GED and was an accomplished business owner and repairman. Before he passed he worked as a pressman for UEA. Alfred enjoyed welding, metal work, and crossword puzzles.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Afton A. Sorensen; son Lee C. Sorensen, and grandson Troy L. Sorensen. He is proceeded in death by his son Vern Glenn Sorensen and brother Glenn B. Sorensen.
A celebration of life will be held for Alfred at Marie Callenders on Saturday, February 25th in Salt Lake City at 1109 E 3900 S at 1 PM.
