Daniel Charles Keeling

Daniel Charles Keeling

“Fat Man”

1974-2022

Dan was born on September 1st, 1974, to Alvin Lester Keeling and Bonnie Juanita Buist-Keeling and passed away on July 3rd, 2022, at the young age of 47. Dan met Kim Mickelsen in August of 1989, and they spent the next 26 years together raising their four children.

Dan was a loving father who always helped raise his kids. Always doing any and everything for them, there is nothing he wouldn’t do from taxi-dad to personal mechanic.

Dan was a jack of all trades; there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. From sketching an intricate doodle on a napkin to everything auto body & mechanics, carpentry, painting, electrical, etc., the list really does go on.

Dan enjoyed his side projects which included working on his 80’s square body chevy pick-ups, woodworking, furniture refurbishing, and mostly his trips to Wendover.

Dan is survived by his children Devin(Jessie) Keeling, Dylan(Steven) Keeling, Kaylie(Emilio) Keeling, Kinzie(Connor) Keeling, brothers Chris and Jeff Keeling, Sisters Dawna(Robert) Gulledge, Ronda See, Shelley Sullivan Hutchings, Barbara Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews.

Dan is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Keeling, father, Alvin Keeling, biological father, Arlee Sr. Sullivan, brother, Arlee Jr. “Bump” Sullivan, and nephew Jared Dumas.

A celebration of life will be held at Salt Lake County Parks, 6332s. Airport Rd. West Jordan, UT 84084 on August 6th, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

A light lunch will be served, so come and celebrate with “A nice big cup of shut the fuck up with ice, so it lasts longer!”
