Dolores Darlene Zambrano Maldonado

Dolores Darlene Zambrano Maldonado passed away at St. Marks Hospital on March 2, 2017 in Salt Lake City at the age of 51.  

Dolores was born to Lydia Pineda, Nelson Zambrano. She lived in Albuquerque New Mexico, American Fork, Provo, and Salt Lake City Utah. She is remembered for her love of playing with her grandchildren, having sleep overs, and getting out and going dancing with her wonderful husband Jose. She was famous for her homemade tortillas and scones, and loved playing bingo (which she never got enough of). She was an amazing women and always helped those in need, even if she didn't have much herself.

 

She is survived by her Husband and best friend of 10 years Jose Maldonado, Daughters, Teresa Perez, Gloria Zambrano, Amanda Zambrano and Son, Alejandro Zambrano. Brothers, Melvin Zambrano, Rick Pineda, Benjamin "Tracy" Garcia, Sister, Georgia "German" Cervantes, 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

 

Dolores is preceded in death by her Mother, Lydia Pineda, Father, Nelson Zambrano, and Sister, Marcella Pineda Zapata.

 

A funeral service will be held this Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10 AM at the TownPlace suites 5473 High Market Dr, West Valley City, Utah. (Guests will enter on the West side of the building).
