Eva Anne Marlowe “Anne”

Eva Anne Marlowe “Anne” is now peacefully residing with her beloved parents Stella and Ray Whitby, as well as friends, grandchild, and the many others she loved. She is survived by her siblings, Juanita Nield, Jennifer Bishop and Mike Whitby.

Anne graced this earth 4/14/42-1/2/22, and she made the most of the dash. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1959, and Holy Cross Nursing School in 1963, the same year she married Daniel Marlowe. They were blessed with four children, Dan (& Tammy) Marlowe, Kristin (& Quinn) Deveraux, Dave (& Emily) Marlowe and Doug (& Melanie) Marlowe. She was so proud of her children and loved each of them with her whole heart and soul.

All who knew Anne said she was an angel on Earth, blessing everyone she touched. She worked as an RN for much of her life and thrived in her role as a nurturing mother. Mom was a caregiver to many in her post-nursing years, a treasured friend, and an incredibly giving and loving grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 3.

Mom had the gifts of acceptance, grace, humility and peace. Being in her presence, you could feel a special light inside of her, and her sparkling blue eyes and smile would light up the room. She was a pillar of strength, determination and faith. Mom enjoyed and appreciated life. She left each of her children with the framed message, “Life is Good,” embroidered by her hand, as a reminder to embrace every moment we are given.

In her later years, Anne enjoyed the performing arts with her sisters and niece, Nicole Bishop. Mom loved to shop (retail therapy) with her daughter when visiting San Diego, and always enjoyed a walk on the beach with a diet coke in hand while soaking up the sunshine. She welcomed spring flowers and gardening was a passion of hers. Mom adored her bird feeders, and especially the flight of hummingbirds darting their way across the yard to her window. She loved a drive up the canyon to watch the leaves change and breathe the fresh, crisp, fall air.

Most of her time was spent being grandma, mother and friend. She was continuously connected with everyone and kept us all “in the loop” of happenings in all the lives she touched.

We ask that you remember Anne by listening to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong and soak in the love and grace that this life offers. She wanted us to sing “God Be with You Till We Meet Again.” So, we ask that you please take a moment to reflect on the lyrics, “By his counsel’s guide uphold you; With his sheep securely fold you; When life’s perils thick confound you; Put his arms unfailing round you; Keep love’s banner floating o’er you; Smite death’s threat’ning wave before you... God be with you till we meet again.”

There are no words for how much Mom will be missed, but her loving spirit will always reside warm in our hearts. We Love You Mostestest!!!
