Passed away September 22,2018 and left us to go fishing at the big fishing hole in the sky. He was born July 24, 1935, in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was the son of Truman Glen and Delta Irene Atwood.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a skilled carpenter and had a passion for restoring classic vehicles. He liked to hang out at the local coffee shops where he had a gift to gab.
Ferris was drafted in to the Army and served his country in Korea. When he returned home he married Colleen Herndon of Idaho Falls and had four children.They were later divorced. He later married Edie Rook of Salt Lake City bringing to the union three step children. Ferris is survived by his wife Edie, children Don, (Barbara) Kris ( Troy) and Joey (Jessica) and step children Kori, (Rory) Karla, (Craig) and Troy. Siblings, Della, Truman,(Rene) Dean (Asta), Glen and Norma.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ron, (Brenda) sister Marion, and brothers Francis and Lynn. Ferris had several grand children and great grand children.
A grave side service will be held at camp Williams in Salt Lake City, Utah. The time and date are still pending. Please contact family for further information.
