It with great sadness that the family of Acel C. Goodman announces that he peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 78, with his devoted and caring partner by his side.
He leaves behind a lifetime of memories in those survived by him; Bertha M. Johnson, his life companion of 30 years, his Daughter, Stephanie Johnson and Son-in-law L.J. Johnson.
Acel will also be remembered by his three grandchildren, Tiffany B. Emery, Travis J. Emery (Carolyn) and Charlene D. Emery-Vaughn as well as his seven Great-grandchildren.
Acel’s life was lived full and long, bravely surviving many obstacles and despite being confined to a wheelchair, he was able to live out his dream of owning and running a farm in Fruitland, Utah for the majority of his life, where he was also near his family. He loved hunting and fishing, riding his snowmobile and camping. He had a passion for being out of doors and being around animals and wildlife and did so at every opportunity. He enjoyed driving through the many canyons available nearby his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine R. (Foley) Goodman, his son, Wayne S. Goodman, his Father and Mother, “Ace” Wilfred Goodman & Fern Goodman and his two brothers, Vern Goodman and Leon Goodman.
There will not be grave side services. However, a celebration of Acel’s life for family and friends will be held at an Open House on September 21, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
