Hubert Aun, 82, died October 5, 2018 in his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Hubert was born September 25, 1936 in Rangoon, Burma to Sui Yain Chan and Ping Ngoon Aun.

He brought his family to the United States from Burma in 1979, settling in Rawlings, Wyoming for a short time. While traveling West to visit family he passed through Salt Lake City, UT where he found good prospects and moved his family where they settled.

He enjoyed going out to dim sum with his children, going to the senior center, and traveling abroad. His favorite places to travel included Canada, California, Burma, and China to visit family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shu Aun; his children, Jeffrey Aun (Robert Cross), George Aun (Holly), Bobby Aun (Miriam), Kim Black (Brian), Jenny Czekalski (Ryan), and his 13 grand children.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Julisa Workman (Roger).

A viewing and memorial dinner will be held at a later date for family and friends.
