Jenny Bernice Peterson

She was born with the exotic rhythm, blazing sun, majestic waters & ancient winds of the desert woven into her soul… she was never just a girl, but a girl with a remarkable world hidden deep beneath her skin. Jenny Bernice Peterson left this world on December 25th, 2021 at the age of 40. She was born on August 9th, 1981 to Thomas Schnoor and Larie Peterson.

Jenny was an amazingly strong person who went through a lot early on in her life. She loved with her whole heart and took nothing for granted. She believed living her life her own way and enjoying each moment. If Jenny had a nickname it would be Adventurer because she always looked forward to the next thing she could try. She never backed down, she was never afraid; she took all things on headfirst and never gave up.

The two things Jenny loved most in life were animals and her family. She loved her nieces and nephews most of all, not having the ability to have children of her own, she put forth all the love she could into them, she had a very special bond with her nephew Ozzy. She loved working with animals, especially her adorable puppy Juno. Nothing made her happier than to go to work and get to know the next animal she got to work with that day.

Jenny is survived by her parents: Thomas (Tammy) Schnoor, Larie (Chip) Peterson, grandmother: Hazel Peterson, aunt: Mary Peterson, stepfather: Joseph Bleazard, her siblings: Melody (Chance) Carter, Jesse Thomas, Mathew Brown, William Schnoor, John (Becca) Schnoor, Alex Schnoor, Krystyn (Casey) Mace, Tanner Dallas-Schnoor and Cody Dallas, her nieces, nephews, and other family and friends she gathered along her journey.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Alvin Peterson, John Schnoor and Marion Schnoor, her uncle: Jay Peterson, her dear friend: Ian Keddington.
