Jiri Cisar

On Saturday March 6th 2021, we unexpectedly lost Jiri Cisar. He was an amazing Husband, phenomenal dad and best friend to his son and the most loving grandpa. Jiri always made everyone laugh and had the most happy go lucky energy. He was survived by his wife Jana of 49 years, his son Martin (Denise) and two grandkids Noah and Mila. Jiri, his wife and 3 year old son immigrated from Czechoslovakia in 1981 to the USA, they came to America with nothing but hopes and dreams! With lots of hard work and dedication they built a wonderful life together. Jiri was an extremely hard working and dedicated man. He passed on his work ethic and knowledge to his son. He was always willing to help with anything needed, he would never say no! He loved playing sports including skiing, soccer and tennis his biggest love was playing hockey. He played hockey up until the Covid 19 virus shut the rink down. He enjoyed riding the sand dunes with his son and family. He was the loudest cheerleader supporting his grandson and grand daughter at soccer games, BMX races and school events. Jiri at 74 years old was always busy with something, he was enjoying his retirement with his wife. He loved to travel and explore, he loved nature especially bird and animal watching. He will be truly missed and always have a huge place in our hearts. Due to Corona virus restrictions there will be a celebration of life planned later this summer at one of Jiri’s favorite mountain spots.
