John Louie Whitten

Whitten, John Louie

It is with great sadness that the family of John Louie Whitten announces his passing after a brief illness, on Monday, August 10, 2020, at the age of 56 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Pam and his children, Maria and Adelina. John will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Candy and Darlene, by brother Richard (Rick), by sister-in-law Maryann, and by half-sister Shelbi. John was predeceased by his mother Linda, brother Vinny, and father John.

John loved fishing, especially when enjoying the sport with loved ones. He worked as a warehouse manager for 30 years but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. He spent his free time with hobbies, mostly collecting marbles and trains. John had a love of music and especially enjoyed the likes of 80’s hairbands, Shania Twain, and Johnny Cash.

A special thank you to the people at Hearts for Hospice for their loving care and support during his final days.

A small, informal service in memory of John will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., at 1747 S. 450 E., Kaysville, Utah 84037 (backyard) with friend and Deacon Donny Tyndall officiating. Masks will be required.
