Juan Antonio Hernandez

Our dear dad, Juan Antonio Hernandez Martinez, passed away on the night of Tuesday, March 19th after a brief period of hospitalization. He was born July 18, 1964 in his beloved hometown of Villagran, Guanajuato, Mexico. He emigrated to the US in 1986 and settled in Salt Lake City, Utah where eventually many more of his family and friends joined him. We will remember him for his sense of humor and the love he had for all his family. He was taken from us too soon, but will leave on in our hearts and memories. 
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Carmen Bravo Gonzalez, his sons Jose Miguel (Maria Lopez), Juan, daughter Mariana (Erik Bustamante) and grandchildren Gabriella, Brianna, and Isabella. He is also survived by his siblings Maria, Pablo, Alicia, Carmen, Arnulfo, Felipe, and Adriana; as well as in-laws, nieces, nephews, comadres, compadres, and countless ahijados (godchildren) he made through the years. He is preceded in death by his parents Arnulfo Hernandez Navarro, Maria del Carmen Martinez Escobedo, siblings Yolanda, Alejandro, and Rosa.  


Please join us in remembering his life at a viewing held Monday, March 25, 4-6 pm at Kramer Family Funeral & Cremation, 2500 S. Decker Lake Blvd. #1, West Valley City, UT 84119. A viewing and funeral mass will be held Tuesday, March 26 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 257 N. 700 W., Salt Lake City, UT 84116 beginning at 10 am. He will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral mass at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 222 S. 200 W., Bountiful, UT 84010.
