Kurt Thomas Welch passed in his home on September 24th, 2018. 

Kurt was born on October 4th 1958 in Southern Idaho to Barbara Holmquist And Thomas Charles Welch. He has been in his life a cook and then pool maintenance technician in Las Vegas. He moved to Salt Lake City and worked as a Finish Carpenter. He married Rebecca Tracy Welch on October 1st 2001. Kurt enjoyed nascar, football and exploring the outdoors. He spent most of his time camping, fishing, and taking photos of nature with his close friends and family. 

His close friends paid this tribute to him, " He always lent a helping hand wherever he could. He was generous, kind and a great friend with a good and strong heart. He is missed."

He is survived by his wife and his mother, his daughter Brandi, five grandchildren and his six siblings, Mark, Shelly, Steven, Shannon, Brad, and Brett. As well as aunt's, uncles and cousins.        

His funeral service will be held Friday, October 20th at the local church located at 8950 South 400 East, Sandy UT 84070(Meet the Family at 10:00 am, Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am), followed by a celebration of life at his home located at 8846 South 580 East, Sandy, Utah at 1:00 pm.
