Louise Lee Atene passed away on June 30, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She passed after a courageous battle against interstitial lung disease. She is survived by her daughter Sabrina (Gabe).

Louise was born in Monument Valley in 1961. She lived in various parts of the western United States throughout her life, most recently in Salt Lake County. She attended BYU and later worked in different jobs in the healthcare industry.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Sabrina. Together, they liked to read books, watch movies, and go on long drives. Louise loved animals, especially cats. She enjoyed making jewelry and giving away her beautiful creations. Italian and Mexican food were some of her favorites. 

Per Louise’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. An informal memorial service will be held in the near future.

Louise will be greatly missed by those who knew her, both family and friends.
