Michael Wayne Bell

Michael Wayne Bell passed away on July 23rd 2020. He was born August 2, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ruth Diane Bell and Wayne Victor Bell.

Mike loved and cherished his family. After losing his father at the young age of 15, being the eldest of his seven siblings, he grew up teaching his brothers and sisters to hunt, fish, camp, and ski, all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. Mike was a member of the National Guard in his youth; he always took pride in whatever task was at hand. Sensitive to others, he was a thoughtful, humble, and tender hearted person who would give you his shoes if you were in need.

After his first marriage to Esther Beesley and the birth of his two oldest children, Dustin and Shannon, he married his soul mate Robin Jean Hansen, and together they had their daughter Rachelle. They spent the next 36 years creating loving memories together until Robin’s passing in 2018. Mike made it a priority to raise his children with an appreciation for nature. Frequent camping, hiking, four wheeling, hunting and fishing trips with his family are favorite memories enjoyed by his children. He also had a love for reading, a springtime thunderstorm and sipping his coffee in the morning sun with his sweet pup, Hope. Mike recently found joy road tripping and rockhounding with his daughter Rachelle and grandson Oliver. Mike was loved by and remained close with his family throughout his life.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Victor Bell, his mother, Ruth Diane Bell and his wife Robin Jean Bell.

Mike is survived by his children Dustin, Shannon (James) and Rachelle. His four grandchildren Lily, Olivia, Henry and Oliver. His siblings, Linda (Lyle), Jeanyne, Lloyd (Paula), Russell (Annette), Barbara, Raymond, Darrin (Lisa), and his best friends Sal and Nonnie Delgado.
