Everyone that knew Ray in one way or another, may it have been short lived or from the time of his childhood, they knew how patient, loving, caring, sincere, and such a kindhearted person he was. When Ray wasn’t working endlessly to take care of his Mom, siblings, and his many nieces and nephews under one household, he spent it with his second family which were his kalapu, cousins and their wives, and his many endless list of friends. Everyone knew him to have a great sense of humor no matter who he was around whether it be family, friends, co-workers, and even complete strangers.

In addition to his father, Tovia Laufau Peni he was predeceased by his nephew, Aunuua Don Moliga Jr. Ray is survived by his Mother, Asosa Mary Peni (Ili); Sisters: Phyllis Moliga and her husband Aunuua Moliga, Jessica Tufuga and her husband David Tufuga, and Lethe Savea and her husband Moses Savea.
