Richard Ted Christensen, age 52, passed away July 12, 2016, in Ogden, Utah. He was born May 11, 1964 in Heber City, Utah to Deanna Rose Boren and the late Theodore Dominic Christensen. He attended the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, and loved making culinary delights for his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, poetry, and painting.Richard served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Guam. Richard is survived by his children: Ted, Kaden, Emily, and Shayne; mother: Deanna Rose-Taylor; siblings: Debi(Brent) Ring, Dustin Christensen, Ryan(Jen) Lopez, Sabrina(Ed) Crowley, and Shantell Lopez. He was proceeded in death by his father, sister Tami Brown, and nephew Brock Christensen. A memorial service will be held for Richard on Monday, July 18, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the Sunrise Meadows LDS Church Building, 947 Jack Rabbit Run W, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045.
