Steven Allen Rimmer, passed away on January 19th, 2018 at the age of 42 of an unknown cause.  Steven was a native of Michigan and at the age of 17 joined the Army National Guard.  He then moved to Utah around 1996 to pursue work and schooling.  He loved the outdoors, specifically mountain biking, camping & hiking. While in Utah, he married and had two children.  He subsequently divorced and moved to the east coast to pursue work again.  He returned to Utah in 2016 and found the best fitted position for him, working for the University of Utah’s Department of Comparative Medicine. 

Steven is survived by his daughter Madison Lynn, son Andrew Satori and x-wife Jeni Lynn (Rimmer-Millar); mother Wanda Collins, brother James Rimmer and sisters Sara Erickson and April Kahl.  He is preceded in death by his younger brother Robert Garvey. 

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday February 3rd, 2018 at the Church of Later Day Saints Union Park 3rd Ward building 8060 South 615 East, Sandy, UT 84070.
