Roger "MOE" Grimaud

"MOE"

    Roger "MOE" Grimaud passed away of natural causes on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Memorial Veterans hospital in Salt Lake City. Roger was born August 19, 1936 in Firth, Idaho to his parents Armand Lucien and Lucille Martha Mounteer Grimaud. His siblings are Donald Lee Roy, Armand Duayne (Deceased), Myron Francis (Deceased) Margorie, Henry Leon, Harold Lloyd and Marie Lucile. He was proud of "Beetdigger" at Jordan high school. He married Margene Christensen on March 1955 (deceased in 1977) and had three children, Dan Roger, Stacy, and Leanne. He married Patricia Finnegan August 1964 (deceased in 2015) and had Malone Maurice, she previously had Yvette and Paula. In 1976 he was married to Randy Fae chestnut, (Deceased in 2010) she previously had Dee Dee, Joseph Riley "Joe" and Paula.

Roger served in the Army National Guard, and started his career in 1954 at Kennecott copper retiring as an electrician. After retirement, his favorite place to be was "on the mountain" in Duchene Utah. His several acres and "Daddyo's tinker shop" occupied many hours along with catching the big one at starvation reservoir. He utilized his toys (camper, motorcycle, four wheeler, boat, etc.) and enjoyed his family friends and animals (goat, dogs, cats) into his sunset years. The annual pig roast on memorial day was with family and friends look forward to each year. Survived by: Dan Roger Grimaud (Karen) Stacey James (Keven), Leanne Grimaud, Malone Maurice Grimaud (Nina), Dee Dee Taylor (Scott), Paula Young, Yvette Mumford, preceded in death by his parents and children Joseph Riley Grimaud, Paula Vincent. He leaves behind 28 grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Rogers requests were to o be cremated and his ashes spread along the mountain side of his property. Family will be notified of this events date once it has been arranged.
