Ronald E. Grow, 70, of Salt Lake City, passed away on June 29, 2017 in Salt Lake City with his family by his side. Ron was born in Salt Lake City to Wallace and Florence Grow on December 3, 1946. He attended West High School in Salt Lake City. He married his best friend, Kathy Turman on March 5, 1966 in Salt Lake City. He worked as a civilian contractor for Hill Air Force Base until his retirement in 2002. He then worked at Holiday Oil in Taylorsville for seven years where he made many friends with the customers. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. Ron is survived by his wife Kathy and their 3 children - Mike, Sheryl (Angie Grow-Hall) and Cindi (Steven Despain) Grow; 9 grand children and 7 (soon to be 8) great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two beloved dogs, Penny and Peanut. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Florence Grow
Per Ron's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services. The family requests no flowers be sent.
