Russell D Andrews

On May 3rd, 1971 in Grass Valley, California, Russell D Andrews was born into this world to Dawn Sharon Andrews. The youngest of 3 boys, Russell lived life to the fullest and love those around him with the biggest heart. On March 9th 2018, his chapter upon this Earth has finished, and he can be with his dogs and mother once again. He is survived by his brothers, Richard and Jason, 2 children Dallas and Destiny, and many, many loving family members and friends.

If there were a single word to describe Russell, he was a Fighter. From battling cancer early in his adulthood, to surviving multiple medical issues and accidents later in life. Russell always kept his head held high, and he fought to continue his journey despite the odds against him. He was always known as the biggest and strongest in our family. Regardless of his tattoos and intimidating appearance, Russell could make you feel loved and welcome by simply giving one of his huge smiles and a big hug. A family man through and through, he would do what was needed to make sure his kin were taken care of. He was a great friend to many, and never hesitated to help a person in need if he was able to assist. The world will definitely miss the loud music, crazy tattoos, and warming laughter of Russell Andrews.

Please join us in the celebration of Russell’s life in order to pay him with the last respects that he deserves. Services will be held 11:00am-12:00pm March 22nd, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of West Valley City 3831 S Constitution Blvd, West Valley City, Utah 84119. Funeral processions to the cemetery will follow the services.

Thank you, Dad/Son/Brother/Uncle Russ, for the many years of love, laughter, and loyalty that you brought to the Andrews Family. Give Grandma a kiss for us all, and make sure you scratch behind Ryk’s ear like he loves. We love you so much.
