Suellyn Kay Black

Suellyn Kay Black (Rademacher)

Sue left us peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Sue was an amazing daughter, sister, mother and friend that would give the shirt off her back to those in need. She lived her life to the fullest with loud music, dance parties and dark whiskey with her dog and loyal companion Doc by her side. She loved any song by Alabama and found joy in teaching herself to play the guitar and creating wood-burning crafts. She never missed a birthday or anniversary and had an incredible talent for quick wit and sass. She lived her life independently and always on her terms and did so up until her last days. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Steven (Michelle) Hart, her parents Steve and Annette Black, and her siblings Tammy Black, Dirk (Chevaun) Black, Jodie (Dennis) Lierd, Amanda (Rafael) Sandoval, Trina (Colby) Lambourne. Sue will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

An open house celebration of Sue’s life will be held from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, at The Staten Venue - 1238 W Village Main Dr, West Valley City, UT 84119.  No need to come dressed up.  Come just the way you are, just how Sue loved you.  If you would like, feel free to wear Sue’s favorite color purple in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in dedication of Sue at https://give.huntsmancancer.org/page/5121/donate/1.
