On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Tallane Louis Zunguze, known to many as “Lonnie” or “Coach Z”, a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, quietly passed away suddenly at the age of 34 years old. Lonnie will be forever remembered by his mom and dad (Sabina and Louis, sister (Roselee), brother-in-law (Ngugi), brothers (Pimissa and Lee) and Lee’s partner (Krista), niece (Nomizza) and nephews (Kingston and Kusello) and the love of his life, Ashlie.

Lonnie will also be forever remembered by his big family at the Utah Thunder Basketball Club, his numerous aunts, cousins, and extended family and dear friends in Utah and elsewhere.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held in memory of Coach Z on Saturday June 4, at 6: 30-8:00 PM at KEARNS OQUIRRH PARK FITNESS CENTER GYM. FOLLOWED BY A CANDLELIGHT VIGIL.

A Private family viewing will be held on Monday, June 6, at 10:00 am., at the Kramer Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center 2500 S Decker Lake Blvd, West Valley City, UT 84119
