Terri Lynne (Fox) Garcia
11/09/63 ~ 10/01/2022
Terri Lynne passed away peacefully in her home the evening of October 1 , 2022, due to complications brought on by diabetes and congestive heart failure.
Terri is survived by her daughter Jamie Olmedo, husband Fernando Garcia, Mother Karen Fox, Sisters Jackie Kelley, and Gina (Mark) Feigh, along with nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly. Terri Lynne is preceded in death by her Father Terry Fox, Sister Carolee Fox, Grandparents, and countless loved ones.
Everyone that knew Terri Lynne knew of her heart of gold and willingness to give of herself, even when it was at her own detriment. It was this giving of herself and the lifting of others that had many of her daughter’s friends refer to her as “Mama T”. In addition to loved ones and friends, the innate desire to help others allowed Terri to succeed as a social / case worker for the State of Utah for more than twenty years and impact countless families.
In addition to kind words and support, Terri loved to craft and make personalized gifts. From ceramics, to crocheting, to painting and to her latest obsession with repurposing mason jars, the idea of gifting hand made items filled not only her heart with joy, but recipients as well.
Friends, family, and others whose lives were impacted by Terri are welcome to join in a celebration of life hosted at the Jordan Event Center located at 9112 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, October 30th between 1 – 3 pm where light luncheon / refreshments will be served.
