TJ Lux

TJ Lux of Heber City, Utah passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at the age of 77 in his home with family by his side.

TJ was born August 16th, 1944 to Thomas John and Ida Lovina Williams Lux in Vernal, Utah.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1969 serving our country for 3 years during the Vietnam war. During his time in the army, he was awarded multiple medals and commendations for his service, marksmanship, and acts of heroism.

TJ loved spending time outdoors with his loved ones. Fishing, hunting, camping, rock hunting, and long drives into the wilderness. Those who got to spend time with him out in the wild will cherish those fond memories.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life Norma Nye Bates, parents Thomas John and Ida Lovina Williams Lux, siblings Charles J. Lux, Lavee Gurney, Connie Jensen, George A. Lux, Lavaur Lux, and Lori Lux.

He is survived by his siblings Laree Nay, Nancy Springer, Debbie Lux, Ida Migliachio, many nieces and nephews, and  those who lovingly knew him as Grandpa TJ.

Graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at the Veterans Cemetery located at 17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065.

Dedication of TJ’s final resting spot will be performed by Mick Kholer of Heber City, Utah.
