Vaughn Charles Harris

GONE FISHING- Vaughn Charles Harris, Born February 6, 1947 in Boscobel, IL, later to move to Devon, MT to a family farm, and ending in West Jordan, UT after a short battle with Cancer.

 

Vaughn left his worldly body in the arms of his Wife and Daughter on November 26, 2016.

 

He is preceded in Death by his daughter Tricia Lynn Harris and parents Vernon and Geneva Harris.

 

Vaughn Charles Harris is survived by his wife of 36 years Mona Harris, daughter Tina Mae Harris-Gil (Gilberto), daughter Talisa Ann Flitton (Bryce), Son Kash Charles Harris, Granddaughter Jordan Chae Harris, as well as 11 additional Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

 

Anyone that had the pleasure of having Vaughn touch their lives will always remember and hold dear to their hearts his fun and outgoing personality, contagious laugh, his big toothy smile, his positive attitude all the way to the end and most importantly his insatiable love for life and all of its adventures.  His legacy will carry on thru his Wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as additional family members and friends, in the words of Vaughn…

“It’s all Good, I’ll see you again”

 

The family would like to give special thanks to those at the University of Utah Hospital, the VA Hospital, The Huntsman Cancer Institute, as well as his beloved nurse Wendy, and the entire team at Brighton Home Health and Hospice.

 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in remembrance of Vaughn Harris to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.

 

A Celebration of his life will be held at his home on Sunday December 11th from 1pm-6pm for family and friends.
