Virginia Ann Eaton

Virginia Ann Eaton, 70, of West Valley City, Utah, passed away on January 28, 2022. She was born to parents Idonna Robert Shipp and Marion Bard Shipp, on December 19, 1951 in Salt Lake City Utah. Virginia is a member of the LDS church.

Grandma loved to play solitaire, board games, puzzles, take trips to Wendover with her sister May, and loved to spend every moment she could with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren will always remember the great food she cooked, trips to the dollar theater, laundromat, and Chuck-A-Rama.

Virginia married Thomas Craig Williams in 1970 and later divorced. She married Franklin Eaton in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Virginia is survived by her one daughter Brenda (Jack) Erickson, two sons Thomas Williams, Don Bard Shipp, two sisters Donna (Vernon)Lecroy, Carol (Newell) Stanley, one brother Jerry Shipp. (12) grandchildren, (23) great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Franklin Eaton, three brothers Richard, Donald, Marion James. Two sisters Sharon Kay, Patricia Lloyd and one great granddaughter Aamyah Marilyn.

Virginia's viewing and funeral services will be held at the LDS church 7903 S. 2700 W. West Jordan, Utah 84084. The viewing will begin Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. then the funeral services followed after. Graveside services will be at 1: 00 p.m. and held at Valley View Memorial Park (4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, Utah 84120)

We just would like to thank all of the support from her sister May (Donna) and her daughter Brenda for doing what they could to make grandma’s life as fulfilled as possible during these last few years.
