1. We Own The Crematory
Most funeral homes and mortuaries do not actually have a crematorium and therefore have to use third party crematories. Our crematory is owned and operated by our firm for the exclusive use of the families we serve.
2. Work with our professional staff
Throughout the cremation process you will work with one of our care counselors. Our staff will notify you as important details become available.
3. Safeguarding personal identity
To ensure accuracy, a personal identification band is placed with your loved one the moment your loved one is received into our care.
4. Secure tracking system
Upon arrival, your loved one receives a unique identification tag. This unique identification is used to track every phase of the cremation process. Personal belongings are placed in a secure area for safekeeping until they are returned to the family.
5. Family identification
Viewing or seeing your loved one is offered for an additional charge and can be held at Kramer Family's chapel.
6. Proper documents filed
All cremation paperwork and permits are reviewed by our staff to ensure authorizations and permits have been received and properly documented.
7. Cremation record
Immediately prior to the cremation process your loved one's personal identification is noted in our cremation log records.
8. Details during the cremation
A cremation authorization signed by the next of kin, a state issued cremation permit, and a metal identification tag are used to confirm identity during the cremation process.
9. Details after the cremation
After the cremation is complete, the cremated remains are placed with the metal identification tag into an urn. The authorizations are placed in our permanent files.
10. Return of the cremated remains
Our staff will notify you to schedule a time for receipt of the cremated remains.
