Jennifer Elizabeth Hovat (Knutson-Hutchens)
Jennifer Elizabeth Hovat (Knutson-Hutchens) age 37
Jenny was born at 10:36 a.m. at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. A beautiful baby girl born with blonde curls upon her head to Beckie Rees Hovat and Johnny Hovat on April 19th, 1982. From the very beginning, she was her daddy's girl. Jenny was known for her incredibly beautiful smile and loving heart.
Jenny had a real gift for the music that she loved, she could hear a song and could memorize the words instantly. Her favorite musician was Kenny Chesney, she loved him! So much so that she dreamed of marrying him someday.
Jenny was a talented, artistic and a very crafty person. She loved to make rosaries and bracelets for the people she loved. Jenny was always the center of attention because of the inner light that shined from within. Like a bright shiny star! She glowed!
Little did we realize that her dad was brainwashing her as she grew up to be a die-hard Bronco's fan. So much so that she had a huge Bronco's logo tattooed on her back. She truly bled orange for her team, a loyal fan to the end!!!!
Jenny has an older brother named, Johnny. She followed him everywhere all of her life. She drove him crazy, however, they had a deep love and true respect for each other.
Jenny spent her first years growing up with Nana Rose. When she became Nana's baby, no one could say a bad word about her or you'd catch heck!! Nana gave her pretty much whatever she wanted. Every day Nana would take the remote control from her brother Johnny, so she could watch Pooh Corner. Eventually, Johnny just gave up trying.
Jennifer spent time with her brother and their uncle Lanny and their lab’s at Liberty Park.....very happy days. She became an animal lover with so many cats in her lifetime. We seriously can't remember a time when pets weren't dressed up in dresses & hats with their toenails painted courtesy of Jenny.
Jenny grew up in the Granite School district, she worked very hard for and received her high school diploma.
Jenny worked as a supervisor at the Chateau Brickyard. She loved her job and was proud of her work with the elderly who lived at the Chateau.
Jenny leaves behind 3 beautiful children that she loved with her heart and soul. Ty, 20 years old, Madison, 11 years old and Conner, 13 years old. They were her loving pride and joy in life. Ty is the only consistent man throughout her life. Conner is a total mama's boy and Madison her beautiful little señorita. Her children will feel the loss of their mother for the rest of their lives. They will be loved and cared for by her brother Johnny and Auntie Jill.
Jenny was baptized Catholic at the Cathedral of the Madeline along with her mother Beckie and knows her Lord and Savior.
Jenny's dad John passed away in 2012, this broke her spirit and she never really got over the loss and pain that followed her every day.
Our family has been devastated by the loss of Jenny and her aunt Jackie. So young to leave through tragedy, not knowing she still had a beautiful life that awaited her. We pray to our Lord to help guide us, to help us move forward. We promise that her love and memory will continue in the lives of her children. They will know that they are loved and missed by their mom through our love and treasured memories.
Jenny was such a beautiful soul with a contagious smile that was taken too soon.
We want to give special thanks to her Aunt Jackie and cousin Jessica for loving her with their heart and soul. We don't want to let her go, however, we know that she walks with her aunt Jackie hand in hand walking each other home again.
WE LOVE YOU JENNY- stay close for a while, please? We still need you.
As Jenny would say: I gotta get going- I'll see you around!!
