Stacy Ann Palmer Crane
Stacy Ann Palmer Crane, age 42, passed away on December 15th, 2016 at 10:40am at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Harold Lee Palmer and Susan Ann Prows. She graduated from high school and later moved to Montana with her husband and children.
Stacy enjoyed gardening, cooking, and crafting. Most notably, she was a mother to nine children.
Have you ever known a person that was just amazing? Stacy was such a person! At the age of 42, Stacy was diagnosed with leukemia, and after receiving a bone marrow transplant from her brother who was a perfect match Stacy was very optimistic and very well spirited by the support of so many family and friends. After nine months of painful and miserable treatments Stacy passed away in her sleep.
Stacy was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, a cousin, an aunt and most of all a great friend has passed away. She has left behind her children and a husband who miss her dearly as we all do. Stacy was a bright light in a dark world. She knew how to smile, to play, to love, and most of all she knew how to be a shoulder to cry on. She was a rare and beautiful person, a daughter of God that did not judge people because of their troubles in life but rather would pull up a chair, wrap up in a blanket and listen. Sometimes she would make you something to eat or plan something fun to lift your spirits. Always a positive person looking at the good in the world and always grateful to have family and friends surrounding her.
Stacy is survived by her husband Thomas Crane III; children Tanner Curtis, Katie (Chris) Jensen, Brayden Hines, Hunter Hines, Jacob Hines, and Thomas Crane IV, Kiya (Kelsen) Grimes, Johnathan Crane, and Kaylynne Crane; grandchildren Mykal Grimes and Brighton Crane; her parents Harry and Susan Palmer; siblings Stephie (Eric) Rees, Jason (Jenni) Palmer, and Jared (Cami) Palmer.
A viewing will be held Thursday, December 29th from 6 - 8 PM at 7171 S 2700 W (LDS Chapel) in West Jordan Utah.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on December 30th, 2016 beginning at 11AM at the LDS Chapel on 7265 South 2700 West West Jordan, UT.
The family would like to thank all of the Doctors, Nurses and Medical staff that treated and took care of Stacy for the last 9 months in the hospital. Her father Harry Palmer who gave his home, heart and soul to take care of Stacy's needs. He visited her every day at least twice a day and was there for her in every way that she needed him to be for support and with love. He was truly her Hero and the one person she felt Safe with as she referred to him as Daddy Safe. To all her family and friends that spent so much time and energy helping out with rides back and forth, shelter and whatever her needs were, to family and friends that were there with her when she passed. Her last wishes were to have all her family with her when she passed. Thank you everyone who was involved with her these last 9 months, Stacy was a strong fighter and a fun loving happy example to us all.
Flowers may be sent to Cami Palmer's home at 6805 South 2795 West West Jordan, Ut 84084.
