Andrew Craig Stevens

The world got a little darker on 9/9/2022 when Craig took his last breath surrounded by his family at Huntsman hospital. 

He was born 12/18/1951 to Emily Eager and Andrew Stevens. He was a fighter who fought his way through heart attack, and throat cancer all while keeping his unique sense of humor. 

Craig married the love of his life Sherrel Diane Stevens in 1971 . They had 3 children together, and despite being divorced after 40 years remained close. 

Craig worked as a construction superintendent for most of his life, and was famous for giving life long nicknames to his favorite workers. He had a fiery personality and strong character that left an impression on everyone he knew. 

Craig is preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Romero , parents and step mother Doris Stevens , sister Christine and brother Doug. 

He is survived by his ex wife and life long best friend Diane Stevens, son Kelly (Tasha) Stevens, Daughter and care giver Kari Leek. 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 

Craig will be cremated at Kramer family funeral home, and a celebration of life will take place Sunday 9/18/2022 from 10 am to 1 pm at Germania park pavilion 5243 Murray Pkwy ave In Murray Utah. Flowers can be sent to 4746 W 5055 S , SLC UT 84118
