Bradford James Taylor passed away on May 4, 2019 after an extended illness. He was born on June 3, 1945 to Dan Nielson Taylor and Janet Donald Murdoch in Sioux City, Iowa. While growing up he lived in 7 U.S. states and in Paris, France. He graduated from McLean, Virginia High School, attended Washington and Lee University, graduated from Brigham Young University in secondary education, and obtained certification in Medical technology in Washington, D.C. For the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he went on a 2 year mission in eastern France, Belgium and Luxembourg. He taught secondary science in Kingman, Arizona; supervised a medical technology lab in Fort Vermillion, Alberta, Canada; and taught secondary education classes on the Blood Indian Reserve near Cardston, Alberta, Canada.

He married Patricia Taylor on August 27, 1968 and they had 3 daughters and 1 son and were later divorced. After some time he married Claudette Harris in 1990, but tragically lost Claudette in an automobile accident about a week after marriage. Eventually he married Lourdes Iharra on June 11, 1991, adopted her 2 sons and 2 daughters, and they were later divorced.

He greatly loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to experience or regaling them with stories of his interests including geology, earth science, rock climbing, spelunking, camping, fishing and hunting. We are blessed that Brad, although in poor health, in his stubborn and adventuresome way traveled down from Canada to spend the last few years of his life with us here in Ogden, Utah. We are grateful for his optimism, perseverance, wisdom, and stories however quirky they may be.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant grandson, Gabriel Taylor. He is survived by 2 brothers Ronald (Mary) Taylor of Pleasant View, UT; and Bruce Taylor of Chicago, IL; 4 children including Tresithney (Emilse) Peraza of Erda, UT; Methany (Kevin) Rasband of Ogden; Tregarrick (Jodi) Taylor of Anchorage, AK; and Maren (Charles) Stohel of Ogden; 4 adopted children including DeNora (Michael) Nemeth of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Fernando (Adriana) Taylor of Mexico; Jessica (Ivan) Reina of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Jesus Taylor of Lethbridge; 25 grandchildren including Jared (Kristen) Stee of Bella Vista, AR; Alyssa Stee of Ogden; Anthony and Marisa Peraza of Erda, UT; Logan Dwaileebe on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in West Virginia; Mary Dwaileebe of Anchorage, AK; Sarah Dwaileebe of Ogden; Gabe and Myah Dwaileebe of Honeyville, UT; Chamberlain, Riepe, Kassel, Winther, and Kors Stohel of Ogden; Quincy, London, Romi, Roxi, and Gage Taylor of Anchorage, AK; Kendra and Bianca Nemeth of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Fernando Taylor of Mexico; Natalie, Alejandro, and Mateo Taylor of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; plus 2 great grandchildren Adrian and Olivia Stee of Bella Vista, AR.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2019 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home, 500 S. Decker Lake Blvd. #1, West Valley City, UT. A graveside funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S., Magna, UT.
