Brent D. Petersen

Brent Peterson.JPG

Our beloved brother, uncle, and dear friend Brent D. Petersen (Pete) passed in his home on July 12th.

Brent was known for his love for the outdoors and became a mountain man. If he wasn’t at home jamming out to Jimmy Buffet with friends, he was up in the Uinta basin camping, fishing, and hiking. Brent’s passion for the outdoors helped inspire him to become a certified national forest fire fighter, where he dedicated most of his life working for the BLM fighting forest fires across the united states. Brent had a big heart and laugh that was contagious. In his spare time, he was very fond of building models and tinkering with electronics. He could spend hours educating you about the AH-64 Apache Helicopter along with many other military air crafts. Brent enjoyed spending his days with his best friend and companion Rocko. Where ever Brent would go, Rocko would follow.

Brent survived by his siblings Lori Hill and Mike Redenbaugh (Tish); Nieces and nephew Audra, Hayley, Ashley (Josh), and Brandon; great nieces Courtney, Jada, Zoey and additional family from Logan Utah. Brent is preceded in death by his mother Barbara and father Darrel, his sister Lynette and his nephew, Terence. A small service will be held on Wednesday, August 1st at his residence @ 3122 South 3600 West, West Valley City, UT 84119 @ 10:00 am. Pete will then be set to rest in Logan, UT on August 10 @ Logan City Cemetery 12:00 noon.
