Brian Tot Ha
Salt Lake City / Syracuse- Brian Tot Ha, age 82, passed away July 6, 2020. He was born November 6, 1938, in Saigon, Vietnam. Brian was a Marine Sergeant for the Republic of South Vietnam. He came with his family to the USA in 1990. Brian was the 5th child born to the late Than Thi Pham and Tong Van Ha in Vietnam. Along with his parents, his siblings held a very special place in his heart including his surviving sister and brother; Hai Thi Pham and Sonny Ha and his late sisters and brother; Cong Thi Ha, Nhung Thi Ha, and Xung Van Ha. Brian is survived by his beloved family including his wife, Alina Le; and his daughters, Jennie Ha (Bryan Le), Hanh Ha, Lani Ha, Phuong Ha (Hoang Nguyen), Alison Ha (Marcus Nguyen), Katie Ha (Anh Nguyen). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
With many relatives and friends to speak of, Brian has left behind a lasting impression and will be missed dearly. After escaping the war-torn country of Vietnam in 1990, Brian and his family found their way to settle in Syracuse, New York. This was made possible by the sponsorship of Catholic Charities and the Refugee Assistance Center of Syracuse. With great patience and love, Brian helped his family find a new life and opportunities in the United States.He loved his family tremendously and found joy seeing his extended family grow and loved each of his children and grandchildren. Brian especially enjoyed fishing and traveling with his children and grandchildren. Family and friends remember him as a quiet and gentle man, but his compassion, generosity and sense of humor made him larger than life. Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A livestream of the service will begin at 10am-12pm on Friday, July 10th, 2020 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the temple at the following address:
