Cindy June Munoz

Cindy was born October 3, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cindy passed away in her West Valley City home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 3, 2023.

She loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She had a true love for animals and would take in a stray whenever she came across one.

Cindy was a very hard worker, having been employed at American Express for 17 years, and at Waste Management Mountainview Landfill for 14 years.

She is survived by her long-time boyfriend Nile Harding, and children: William Whetstone (Debbie), Gabrielle Thompson (Will), Mellisa Munoz, Rachelle Munoz-Brown (Phil), and twelve grandchildren.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Munoz, mother Helen Leonard, and father Jerry Leonard.

As per her wishes there will be no services. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life in the spring.
