Dave Bond was born in Great Falls, Montana. He died September 23 ,2018 at the age of 66. He is predeceased by his parents, Norman and Shirley Bond. He is survived by his siblings, Dennis Bond (Melody) of Las Vegas, NV, Kathy Brown(Ron) of Tucson, AZ , Doug Bond of Helena , Montana and Marcia Samoy(Calvin) of Arvada, Colorado. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
Dave attended St.Gerards school and Great Falls Highschool. He is a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He made Ogden his home. Dave played guitar in a local band. Dave worked for the IRS until his brain injury from a motorcycle accident in 2008. He was not a quitter, despite his right-sided paralysis and speech deficit. With the help of local rehabilitation facilities and his long-time friend, Marcus Martinez, he was using a rolling walker and the bus systems to get around the city for his last 11 years. He dealt with his disability without whining or complaining. He is an inspiration to us all in dealing with life's obstacles head-on.
