Emmett Rodriguez “THE BIG E”
Was born on August 8, 1936 in New Mexico to Jacinto and Mary Rodriguez.
He Grew up in Gallup New Mexico- with his favorite dog “Chubby” and later moved to Sunnyside, Utah.
He attended high school in Dragerton & Price and played football 3 years and his Senior year he was drafted to play college ball.
He had several careers and later settled as a Coal Miner which he retired from.
He meet the love of his life Bonnie Marsh, who he married. He had 8 children.
He is survived by his children Tammy (Tony) Tinoco, Dianna (Bobby) Naranjo, Maryann (Todd) Garcia, Amber (Aaron) Cordova, Wendy (Glenn) Mickelson Smith. Also Surviving Emmett are 23 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and sisters Helen Halin, Teresa Casados, Cecilia Swainston, Liz Ferguson, Cynthia Rodriguez and Loriann Vigil.
