Eugene Calvin Heyrend

Eugene Calvin Heyrend, 76, went to be with the Lord September 1, 2021, at Huntsman Cancer Institute surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 16, 1945, in Logan UT, to John Calvin Heyrend and LeOra Richards.

Eugene graduated from Ogden High School, Class of 1963. He honorably served his Country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He married Judy Fielding. Together they had a Daughter, Dayna Lee Schamber. Eugene and Judy were later divorced.

He retired from Newmont Mining Corp, where he worked as a Millwright. Eugene had a gentle soul and a kind heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His hobbies included; fishing, hunting, painting, sketching, drawing and was an avid lover of dogs.

He is survived by his daughter, Dayna Lee Schamber; siblings ChanDra Johnson, Raelene (Jan) Hayball, Elsie Pagh, Noel Lynn Gramly, Randy (Jennifer) Gramly; grandchild, Myles (BreAnna) Toothaker; great-grandchildren, Ruby Maddyson Toothaker, Franky Lynn Toothaker and Denny Kay Toothaker.

He was preceded in death by John Calvin Heyrend (Father), LeOra Gramly (Mother), Don Johnson (Brother-in-law), Mark Pagh (Brother-in-law), Tina Gramly (Sister-in-law), and Maddyson Warner (Granddaughter).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
