Janet “Jan” Hirschi Wright went home to her Heavenly Father on May 8, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. Janet was born in Pocatello Idaho on December 19, 1951, to Keith and Velma Hirschi. She later went on a mission to serve her Heavenly Father in Florida. She was very passionate about her callings in the church. She married the love of her life, Ronald Edward Wright, on January 15, 1977. They were later sealed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake City Temple for all eternity on December 16, 1978. They had nine beautiful children together. Sean Wright (Linda), Brigitte Harper (Lane), Heather Vunipola (Soni), Joe Wright, Troy Wright (Doah), Cory Wright (Danielle), Dereck Wright, Amber Lessing (Scott) and Nichole Mafuahingano (Will). 26 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Janet was loved by many nieces and nephews, who especially loved her fun personality and her love for baking. She loved being around her grandkids and doing crafts with them. She will be missed by everyone who came in contact with her. She is preceded by her Father, Mother, and son Dereck.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 15, 2020, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Kramer Mortuary 2500 S. Decker Lake Blvd. #1 West Valley City, Utah. A graveside service will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Valley View Mortuary located at 4335 W 4100S, West Valley City. Services will conclude with a celebration of life lunch at Western Spring Park located at 4570 Goshute Drive in Riverton, Utah.
