Jason Randall Chapman was born on August 25, 1973 in Edna, Texas, and passed away unexpectedly in a Jeep accident in Moab, Utah, at age 47, on April 17, 2021.

How do we even begin to put into words what a great man Jason was? His kind heart, his gentle nature, his generous soul, his beautiful smile. These are only the tip of the iceberg of things people could say Jason was, but first and foremost he was the most loving and devoted Daddy to both of his girls - Riley (14) and Rowan (10). He was fortunate to have married the love of his life and best friend Angela Davis-Chapman.

His parents Phyllis Casey and John Chapman and his wife Bev, along with his sister Shannon Chapman-Rogers, her husband Chris and their four children Brandon, Tyler, Jack and Emily all know and love him as son, brother, and uncle. His in-laws Jack and Diane Davis, along with sister-in-law Amanda Davis were blessed to have had Jason in their lives for over 25 years and also know and love him as son and brother.

The enormous group of friends that Jason grew over the years was a testament that he was someone you could count on, someone who always lent a helping hand. His passion for geek stuff as well as for cooking made his group of friends become quite diverse.

Jason was a man of strong character and strength, a man with an enormous heart and a man with a smile that could light up the world! He will be genuinely missed by everyone whose life he touched and we will all carry our own special memories with him forever in our hearts.
