Joseph Bonacci passed away unexpectedly Tuesday August 14, 2018 at the age of 87 at home in West Valley City. He was born in Park City Utah to Tony Bonacci and Martha (Marino) Bonacci on June 1, 1931 he is the oldest of 5 siblings.
He attended East High School, married his high school sweet heart Mary Helen Darrow and they had five children Nick, Debby, Sue, Monte, Kelly.
Joe and his sons shared a love of cars, owning and operating an auto body & paint business in Salt Lake County. He had a Zest for life, boating, traveling, spending time with friends and family. His love and passion for ART filled his soul with music playing the drums, photography and creating ceramic pottery.
Joe made many friends throughout his life, making them laugh with his great sense of humor he held true to his beliefs and he enjoyed a good debate!
One of his greatest accomplishments was on June 9 1995 when he graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors Degree of Fine Art.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Tony & Martha Bonacci, his son Nick Bonacci, siblings Dorothy, Rachel, and Al, great grandchild Zaden.
He leaves behind his daughters Debby Bonacci, Sue Bertagnole, sons Monte Bonacci, Kelly Bonacci, Brothers Dick Bonacci, Tom Bonacci, Grandkids Robert Stevens (Phaedra), Andrea Knibbe (Dennis) Geno Trujillo, Shane O’Bryan (Lisa), Vanessa Baker (Charlie), Vinny Bertagnole, Griffin Bonacci, Nicky Joe Bonacci (Aimee), great grandchildren Neko, Brendenn, Carly, Allexis, Chase (Pascal) Adriana, Ashtyn, Kenyan, Connor, Breeana, Zana, Lilly, Dominic, Luke, Ella, Brennan, Sophia, and great-great granddaughter Preslie Rose.
