Joseph Silver

Joseph Silver was born in Washington on 02/01/1957 and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He had a love for life and lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid skier often skipping school to go skiing. He was his happiest behind the wheel of his 18 Wheeler. He drove across the country enjoying the beauty of the different scenery, architecture, food, music and people.

He could often be found at a fishing hole with a fishing rod in his hand and a smile on his face. His love for music was well known, he especially loved Jazz. Put on some music and he’d start to dance; even if off beat.

Joseph made friends wherever he went and will be missed by many. He passed away peacefully at his home in West Jordan, Utah on 12/12/2022. He left behind his loving wife Kim Glasker Silver, 1 brother, 3 sons, 2 daughters, 2 daughter in laws, 6 grandchildren & 1 great granddaughter.

Preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to give special thanks to Gary “Tugg” & Catherine Watson, the Boschetti family; Carter, Aria, Nicholas, Ollie & Waylon, Clarissa & Dakota Steffensen,Tayler Bach, Robin Turner, Alberta Curry and Redbone Trucking Inc.

There will be a Celebration of Life and Balloon Release in the Spring of 2023.
