Justin Grant Kekona Pitre aka Tui, moved on from this world Tuesday the 2nd of Feb. 2021. Born in Honolulu, HI on December 9th, 1981 to Jerry and Cathy Pitre. Justin was outgoing and larger than life from the start. His personality was contagious and people couldn’t help but to gravitate towards him. He made friends everywhere he went and always stood up for what is right. He loved anything outdoors; from being at the property, barbecuing up the canyon, taking a cruise on the Harley, concerts, camping, fishing, hiking, shooting, and especially hitting a dune 5th gear pinned. Everything from his chains, to his cologne, his hobbies and the especially the way he loved, he did to the extreme. He was always loyal to Team Brrrrrap, the Banana Crew, and The Inner Circle but his passion really shined when he was with his family. Mother Cathy, father Jerry, brother Preston, sister in-law Jill and “his monkeys”, nieces McKenna (12, God-daughter,) Madison (9) and his nephew Carter (7), always drowned out everything else in the world, as if time stood still. He would get lost playing with the kids, giggling and reading books with them for hours until bedtime. He will forever be their Uncle Ca-Tui.

Our Tui: This world is forever changed without your genuine love for others and your love for life itself. Our hearts will weep eternally not hearing the sound of your voice or your contagious laugh, but we may all rest easy knowing you are now freed from your struggles and we will cherish every moment that we did get with you.

Overwhelming amounts of family love and support have been coming in from Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, Hawaii and from all corners of Utah. All where family were his greatest of friends, and where friends became family.
Due to Covid restrictions, private services were held and a Celebration of Life will be arranged at a future date.
