Cheryl Rexine Murdock was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world unexpectedly on February 1st, 2021 at the age of 67.
She was born to Reed Alvin Butler and Emma LaRee Carter on February 18th, 1953.
Thanks to a silly bet on a football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburg Steelers, they went on a date, fell in love, and she married the love of her life, John Murdock.
She survived by her husband John Murdock, children Misty (Scott), Johnny (Tania), and Georgette. Grandkids Cecilie (Tyler), Colten, Michelle, Natalie, Johnny Jr., and Tayler, as well as her beloved puppy twinkles.
She loved going hunting, camping, fishing, and especially her trips to Wendover for her nickel machines. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids, and playing in the pool with them.
Because of her contagious Christmas spirit, we all have the love of Christmas. She gave us many great memories and traditions that will carry on for generations to come.
She will be deeply missed and unconditionally loved by everyone that knew her!
P.S. Dad says he loves you!
