Katherine Miranda Hibbetts
Katherine Miranda Hibbetts, a knowledge connoisseur, died on November 6, 2019 at the age of 30. She had a poet’s soul and loved her family above everything else.
Katherine left behind her mother, Anita Michelle; father, James; sister, Allyssa; brother, Devin; and other extended family members. She will be dearly missed and will be carried in the hearts of all those who love her.
Katherine went to New Mexico State University and received a bachelor’s in literature. She excelled in school and her passion for learning continued throughout her life. After graduating college, she found ways to help family where she could. Whether it was babysitting, being a chauffeur, dog walker, or just company so no one was lonely, Katherine was always there in the background giving a helping hand. Katherine lived in Logan, Utah so she could be close to family. She loved watching her cousin’s kids, Lucius and Aric. Spending most of her free time with them.
Katherine liked to quote books and authors to help express her thoughts, feelings and philosophies. Those that knew her best knew that she loved books and the worlds that she could travel to just by reading. She loved animals and delighted in catching reptiles and insects. She would collect pets as her companions and tell them her secrets. She loved engaging others in debates and made sure she always won. She loved listening to music that helped express how she felt and wrote poetry for fun. She loved watching movies and series like Game of Thrones and Peaky Blinders with family and would then discuss the theories afterwards. She was smart, always sharing a clever observation, caring and brave. She loved those around her unconditionally, even when she tried not to show it.
There will be no service for Katherine but if anyone wishes to send condolences please reach out to Anita Michelle Hibbetts.
