Kurt Jeffery Haacke, son of "Bud" Lorus Haacke and Carol Hess Haacke, was born on September 11, 1952 and passed away on January 1, 2019 due to complications of a stroke. He had a great passion for the Civil War, riding his Harley, scuba diving, Star Wars, Conan, watching movies, and playing video games. He enjoyed his career as an electrical engineer for over 30 years. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Lorus Haacke, and survived by his mother, Carol Haacke, sister Jeri Lynn Haacke, brother Gary (Vickie) Haacke, his 6 children, Christopher (Tara) Haacke, Misti (Scott) Bird, Heath (Chrissy) Haacke, Troy (Steph) Haacke, Colt Haacke, Chase (Kerri) Haacke, 16 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the wonderful people at Envision Home Health and Hospice for their outstanding love, and support for Kurt during this past year as they tenderly cared for him. We'd also like to thank those at Kramer Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center for their help and support after his passing. As per Kurt's request there will be no funeral service held. He will be missed by many.
