LaVerne Harris Lawrence

LaVerne (Larry) Harris Lawrence was born February 14, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas to Dwight LaVerne Lawrence and Edna Dorothy Biggart, and passed away September 16, 2020 at 74 years young in Sandy, Utah.
LaVerne served in Vietnam in the Navy and Army from 1964-1968. He married Brenda Lee Mackie in 1990 and had three beautiful kids. He loved to go fishing and camping. He loved spending time outdoors, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He loved watching his Western movies, he was a big fan of John Wayne. He loved movies such as Top Gun and Lethal Weapon. He also loved playing with his model trains and anything having to do with trains. He was a truck driver in Vietnam and ended up making it a career with Godfrey Trucking up until 2008. He is preceded in death by Parents; Dwight L. Lawrence (1997), Edna Dorothy Biggart (1986), and Wife; Brenda Lee Mackie Lawrence (2020). He is survived by his Sister; Dorothy (Mike), Children; Ashleigh (Mike), JD, Brandie, niece Michelle and nephew Tony, great nephew Vincent and great niece Rebecca, and two beautiful granddaughters; Lily and Taylie.
