Lynda Gail Peterson

Our beautiful mother returned home on September 25, 2019 at the age of 74.

Although our hearts are broken, we are comforted by the fact that she is in the arms of her Heavenly Father as well as her other family members and is free from pain and illness.

Lynda was born in St. Paul Minnesota to Reuben Leroy and Barbara Elizabeth Peterson and was the second of four children. She attended Catholic school through high school.

She was blessed with four children which were the love of her life.

She had a love for the beach (Oahu, Hawaii), writing, crocheting blankets and watching classic movies. She was also an incredible seamstress and sketched many of her own clothing designs.

Lynda is proceeded in death by her parents Reubin Leroy and Barbara Peterson.

She is survived by her 3 siblings Dennis Leeroi Peterson, Toni Lee Sanchez, Van Carter Peterson, her four children Jay (Christy) Smith, Shawn (Carla) Fugit, Nacole (Ryan) Wilson, Lanette Hannah, Grandchildren Chad Smith, Daniel Smith, Dylan Smith, Shawna White, Lexi Brasier, Bayli Durrant, Logan Brasier, Colton Brasier, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter on the way.

Lynda requested a private celebration of her life with her children and grandchildren.

We thank those that cared for our mother at the Avalon Care Center and Bristol Hospice. In memory of our mother, the family would like to donate flowers/plants to the residents staying at the Avalon Care Center that do not have family or loved ones who visit them. If you would like to donate, please send or drop off donations to the home of Ryan and Nacole Wilson.
