Marie Alldredge Bolton was born on December 22, 1927, to Ola and Marion Alldredge. She married Jack Bolton on October 16, 1946. They had 3 children. Karen (Pete), Cheryl (Ed), and Scott (Dawn).
She was a very traditional wife who took great pride in herself and her house. She worked beside Jack every year doing their mom and pop wild game processing. Jack cut the meat, Marie wrapped. They had family members work with them every year. They all had a great time.
Marie had a happy childhood, wonderful husband, good children, great friends and extensive family members who were over all the time out playing games, barbecues, having fun together and enjoying each other.
She loved sharing her happy memories of growing up in Garfield, UT.
Dawn and Scott had the privilege of caring for her during her final years. Keeping her in her own house and bed. She really appreciated that. I, Dawn, spent countless hours with her listening to her favorite memories and stories, keeping her as comfortable as I could. We became so close. She was my other mother. I am very happy we were able to spend all that time together. She was a total sweetheart that will be missed dearly.
A service will be held for her Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Westlake Ward 3175 South 3450 West, West Valley City, UT 84119.
