Mark Craig Peacock

1981-2021

Our beloved husband, father, brother and son left his family too early on April 3, 2021.

Mark Craig Peacock was born in Murray, Utah on October 11, 1981, to Arlen Craig and Carol Jean  Peacock. Mark was an exceptional older brother to Kyle and Wade. Mark in is youth loved to play  sports, especially baseball and basketball, to go camping and be in the outdoors, to hunt and fish with  is dad, and to spend time with his many friends.

He graduated from West Jordan High School in 2000, attended Snow College and graduated from  the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He was currently in the Executive  Master of Business Administration program at the University of Utah as well. He was employed by the  Executive Education Department at the University of Utah. It was truly his dream job. He loved the  work he was doing and loved his associations he developed while there. Mark had an exceptional  mind and he loved numbers. He never forgot a phone number and he loved to find the “odd”  numbers that randomly happen on a calendar. He would really appreciate that he died on April 3,  2021 (4321).

Mark met Natalie Jade Litzo in 2003, and they started dating but it was soon discovered that they had  actually met when they were six months old and one year old because their parents were friends and  that they attended the same elementary school. Both had a strong feeling that it was meant to be.  They married on August 10, 2006, in Salt Lake City.

Mark and Natalie were the perfect match for each other. They were best friends and truly enjoyed  being together. Their children Jackson Craig (2010) and Katherine Jade (2013) joined them and their  family was complete. They worked hard and had created the perfect life filled with an overabundance  of love and laughter. Natalie and his children were his highest priority. Everything he worked for or  did was to make sure they were loved and taken care of.

Extended family, both his and Natalie’s, were always welcome and enjoyed. He loved spending time  with them all and keeping those relationships strong. He especially loved to hold and be with the  “babies” of the family. If there was a baby around, they were in Mark’s arms.

Mark was a person that everyone agrees was exceptionally nice, kind and compassionate. He had  the ability to make anyone he was with feel comfortable, welcome, included and to be their best  friend. His impact on our lives will be felt forever.

In Mark’s spare time, he loved to watch the Jazz, do jigsaw puzzles with Natalie, play games  (especially video games) or cards, go camping or hiking, take his dogs for walks, and spend time with  family and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife, Natalie, his children Jackson and Katherine, his parents, his brothers  Kyle (Tarah), Wade (Kellie), his nieces and nephews, his in-laws, Brett Litzo and Rita Roybal (Ronnie), sister-in-law Andrea Wilcox (Greg) and many other family and friends. Preceded in death by  both sets of grandparents, Jim and Barbara Peacock and Arlen and Mary Peacock.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the  University of Utah. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Executive Education  Department for all of their generous support.
